The Al Qaeda-Iran Connection

As al Qaeda works to rebuild after the U.S. Navy SEAL raid that killed Osama bin Laden on May 1, Bruce Riedel writes that the organization's inner circle has undergone a major metamorphosis, thanks to the recent surfacing of the long-lost al Qaeda Iran cadre. According to Riedel, this group, which includes a major block of al Qaeda’s founding fathers, will be a defining element in the new post-Bin Laden al Qaeda.
