New Brain-Gut Research Study Offers Insights into "Late Onset" Autism

Today's Newswise features an article about a new study from McMaster Universtiy which focuses on the relationship between the brain and gut bacteria.  The study uses mouse models to investigate the impact of changing bacterial flora in the gut on behaviors and on emotional factors including anxiety and depression, with a special nod in the direction of autism.  According to the article:
