GM's 2010 Volt MPV5 concept
General Motors has applied for trademark protection on the name “Crossvolt.” We know Chevy will sell an MPV or crossover version of the Volt, and the name Crossvolt wouldn’t work as well on any other vehicle—that is, if GM actually decides it wants to use this name at all. The company has current applications pending for Chevy Amp and Strobe, as well.
