Running and Jogging
Perfect racing weather and strong tailwinds led to record-setting performances at the 115th Boston Marathon today.
In the women's race, it was a dramatic finish with American runner Desiree Davilia (2:22:38) taking second, only losing to Kenyan Caroline Kilel by 2 seconds (2:22:36 - course record). Davilla's time is the fastest by an American woman in Boston, bettering by five seconds Joan Benoit Samuelson's 1983 race.
