Today Barnes & Noble have released a new firmware update from their Nookcolor e-book reader which contains a number of bug fixes and enhancements together with a the new feature of pinch-zooming.
Firmware version 1.1. brings with it pinch-zooming support in the browser with improved performance of Wi-Fi connectivity. Unfortunately if you have rooted your Nookcolor, to transform it into an Android tablet then this update may well return your device to its factory state, however this is yet to be confirmed.
The new update also brings with it improvements to the Home and Shop performance and has added a text banner to easily identify NOOK kids Read To Me books.
