We’re back with another fresh round up of coin collecting news and articles from around the internet! First, the release date and production levels have been announced for the first of the 2011 America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins. The United States Mint has announced that they will release the Gettysburg and Glacier National Park ATB 5 oz. Silver Bullion Coins on April 25. The mintage for each will be 126,500, representing a big increase from the levels in the prior year.

As the price of silver surpassed $40 per ounce today, the US Mint suspended sales of the 2010 Silver Proof Sets. The upcoming price adjustment will be the second for the impacted products.
And now for some notable auctions. First, the 2008 Proof Gold Eagle 4 Coin Set. Despite the lower mintage coins included, this set is priced around the same level as the upcoming 2011-dated version.
With the price of silver higher, there seem to be more auctions for 90% silver coin. Here’s one for 219 90% silver half dollars with a nice mix of dates.
Last , there’s another Cheerios Sacagawea Dollar listed on eBay. This one is graded PCGS MS67 in a Secure holder and includes the accompanying packaging and cent.
