The high-priced projector, is the first one to earn Sony’s “Elevated Standard” (ES) tag, indicating that the projector has passed with outstanding video experience, and an overall high build quality. The VPL-VW90ES features a 240Hz framerate, together with 1,000 ANSI lumens brightness, due to its Ultra High Performance (UHP) lamp.
Sony’s new VPL-VW90ES 3D projector also has a dynamic contrast ratio of 150,000:1 created by Sony’s Advanced Iris 3 technology. It also has a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and features Sony’s 24p True Cinema experience, providing a cinema like experience straight from the box without any extra equipment required.
