If you're looking a running motivation boost, you may want to consider adopting a dog. A recent study found that dog owners are often fitter than those who don't own a pooch. Researchers at Michigan State University tracked the exercise habits of 5,900 people and found that half of those with a dog exercised a minimum of half an hour at least five days a week, compared to 30 percent of those without dogs.
