Sales of the US Mint’s numismatic gold coins surged ahead of suspensions and repricing, following the dramatic increase in the market price of gold.

Some history and information on the 22 karat gold Sacagawea Dollars struck by the United States Mint in June 1999.
And now for some notable auctions. First, an assortment of 20 Morgan Dollars graded PCGS MS63. Seven of the coins are in old green holders.
Next,the 1998-S Matte Proof Kennedy Half Dollar graded NGC MS 70. The coin is housed in one of the special holders denoting the issue as one of the “100 Greatest U.S. Modern Coins”.
Last, the key date 1893-S Morgan Dollar graded NGC F15, listed as a true auction.
