First, a new US Mint sales report shows some swings for numismatic gold and silver products, as well as some impending sell outs. The latest US Mint sales report shows the impacts of recent product suspensions and repricings. The individual one ounce 2011 Proof Gold Eagle is close to a sell out.
Today, gold experienced its worst day since March 2008. After the decline, CME announced that they were raising the margin requirements for gold futures trading by 27%, following a 22% increase two weeks earlier.
Meanwhile, after suspending sales earlier this week, the US Mint resumed sales of most numismatic gold coins without a price increase.

And now for some notable auctions. First, the popular 1937-D Three Legged Buffalo Nickel graded NGC MS 63 and offered with no reserve. The listing includes excellent large sized pictures.
Next, a collection of the four Young Collector’s Edition Sets issued for the 1995 to 1996 Olympic Commemorative Half Dollars. Each set includes the lower mintage uncirculated versions of the coins.
Last, a roll of 20 Morgan Dollars graded PCGS MS62, with four of the coins in old rattler holders.
