The United States Mint has added a $12.50 fulfillment fee for each box of $1 coins ordered through their direct ship program. The fee has been implemented after sending almost one million boxes of coins for free during a period of widespread abuse.

And now for some notable auctions. First, a 1999-W $5 Gold Eagle Struck with Unfinished Proof Dies graded PCGS MS69. These were issued as bullion, but include the “W” mint mark.
Next, a 1909-S Indian Head Cent graded NGC MS 64 RD. This coin has a lower mintage than the more famous 1909-S VDB Lincoln Cent.
Last, here is one of the 2000 Sacagawea Goodacre Presentation Dollars graded PCGS SP68 and signed by former Mint Director Philip Diehl. These coins were given to Glenna Goodacre as payment for her design fee.
