Yes, Solar Air Conditioning! The folks over at Air Conditioning Arlington Tx have a new article and a video showing a solar air conditioner in operation. This is just amazing. You need to watch this video. It only shows a window unit, but it does not even have batteries on it and the solar panels supply enough "juice" to do the job. Note that when the guy walks in front of the array the AC struggles a little. ;-) But, with backup batteries it should do just fine. Check it out!
