Facebook Redesigns News Feed Filtering Options

Just when I was getting used to the old interface.

Today Facebook has launched its newly redesigned New Feed, with new filtering options. Facebook’s new News Feed has now changed from a list to a drop down menu offering a range of new options to view the latest news stories.

The new drop down menu pictured below now allows you to view stories related to Games, Status Updates, Photos, Links and Pages and even allows you to add your own groups, to only see news stories specific to that Group.

The new redesign also gives you access to the Live Feed settings, allowing you to determine whether you want to view more or less stories from a specific user or group.

The new update also no allows you to separate news from friends and official news sites like CNN and The Daily Beast.
