Facebook is now allowing third party applications to have access to your address and phone number information, of course you have to click the dialog box to allow this when you install an app, but many users could end up clicking this and sharing their information by mistake.
The dialog box looks very similar to the one that allows your basic information to be shared with third party applications, which could end up leading to confusion and people may end up sharing their contact information when they don’t actually want too.
Please note that these permissions only provide access to a user’s address and mobile phone number, not their friend’s addresses or mobile phone numbers.
Facebook hasn’t announced this new feature to Facebook users, which could once again lead to confusion as people may click the confirmation box in error, instead the information was released on Facebook’s developer blog.
