Liquid Image is a name that any one familiar with scuba diving or snorkeling might recognize. The company has a full line of underwater goggles that have video cameras inside. Liquid Image has announced a new set of goggles for off-road action sports fans that want to video their action and crashes.

Impact Series Video Goggles

The goggles are offered in the Impact series and come in black or red colors. The camera sensor sits above the bridge of the nose on the goggles and has a 136-degree field of view seeing all that the wearer sees. The camera records in 1080p at 30fps and can record at 60fps when the resolution is cut back to 720p.

It also has a 12MP still camera inside that can shoot still pics as well. Video and photos are stored to a microSD card with a 4GB card included and the slot supports up to 32GB cards. The price and availability date for the goggles is unknown at this time.
