We’re back for another fresh round up of coin collecting news and articles from around the internet! First, the latest sales report for United States Mint numismatic products focuses on the 2011 Proof Platinum Eagle and the recently suspended silver products. Also, circulating coin production, early design process for America the Beautiful Quarters, modern Chinese coins, Canadian coin produced in Switzerland, another shipwreck discovery, coin myths, ANA National Money Show, counterfeit detection, the gold rush, and notable auctions. A new sales report for US Mint numismatic products shows an increase for the 2011 Proof Platinum Eagle, while previously suspended silver products made up some lost ground.

US Mint circulating coin production showed an increase for September, but production consisted almost entirely of cents, nickels, and dimes.
