Professional runner Sally Meyerhoff, considered one of America's top female marathoners, died yesterday when her bike collided with a pickup truck. Meyerhoff, the woman's champ at the P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon in January, was training for the 2012 Olympic Marathon Trials in Houston. Her tragic death is a reminder to runners to practice safety measures while running, biking or doing other outdoor activities.
