Amazon have started rolling out a new feature to their Android App Store that now allows you to try applications before you buy. The new feature called ‘Test Drive’ is an online emulator that allows you to try the Android app within the browser. Giving Amazon another point against Google’s Android Market which doesn’t have a try before you buy services at the moment.
The new ‘Test Drive’ feature is only available to users in the US at the moment and does have a few restrictions as to what can and cant be carried out within the testing feature. The service is also not currently available on every app in the Amazon App Store but is available on a few hundred apps and more are being added daily.
