Password giveawayRecently, word has spread that companies are beginning to ask potential employees to hand over their Facebook passwords, saying it's just another piece of the all-important background check.

Experts say that the requests may be legal. But that's not necessarily what's really worrying Internet companies.

Even if it's A-OK in the legal sphere, the publicity around the idea brings up a topic that companies like Facebook and Google (GOOG) would prefer to avoid: privacy.

Starbucks Lovers Bug Out Over Creepy Frappuccino Ingredient

StarbucksStrawberry Frappuccinos are a summertime favorite at Starbucks (SBUX). Too bad word's out that the lovely strawberry color is actually derived from "cochineal extract" -- dried, crushed bug carcasses. Talk about a buzzkill.

A Change.org petition has helped spread the word that cochineal extract poses a major problem for vegans, since consuming crushed bugs certainly doesn't adhere to the vegan diet.

SRT Previews 2013 Viper’s Interior on Facebook [New York Auto Show]

SRT has released a single image of the 2013 Viper’s interior on its Facebook page ahead of the car’s debut at the New York auto show next week. This is the third official sneak peek at the new Viper that SRT has given us, following a glimpse of a carbon-fiber intake and a line drawing of the car’s front end.

The photo of the interior (above) reveals one surprise, along with one given, about the Viper. First, the obvious: The 2013 Viper will get a six-speed manual transmission. We know, pretty shocking stuff. But the surprise found in the photo is, well, nicely surprising. The big revelation is that the Viper finally gets what appears to be a major interior upgrade. The dashboard is covered in leather that’s held together with contrasting red stitching, and the passenger grab handle is wrapped in what looks like suede or Alcantara. And are those flashes of aluminum trim we see?

We’ll get a full look at the 2013 SRT Viper inside and out next week, so stay tuned to this space for all of the venomous sports cars’ details.

Like many runners getting off the treadmill and heading outside to run in the nicer weather, he's wondering how he should carry water on the run. Juan is smart to be thinking about hydrating on the run, since it's important that runners replace fluids if they're running more than 30 minutes. He writes, "I'm thinking of buying a fluid carrier but I don't know what kind. Do you recommend the belts, the Camelbaks (backpack), or the handheld type?"

A Tuesday morning JetBlue (JBLU) flight taking passengers to Las Vegas had to be diverted after the pilot had a mental meltdown and had to be subdued by passengers.

Reports indicate that the captain was acting erratically in the cockpit, and the co-pilot was able to persuade him to leave. When the co-pilot and an off-duty JetBlue pilot managed to lock him out of the cockpit, the situation intensified.
